He was named a Kitchen and Bath Design Leader by Interior Design
magazine and was recognized by Kitchen and Bath Business
magazine as one of the 50 most influential people in the kitchen and bath industry over the last 50 years. Mick has designed several best‐selling product lines for German manufacturer, SieMatic, and was commissioned by Kallista,
a Kohler company, to design
a line of sinks that was introduced in 2011. One of these -- the Multiere -- was named Best of Year for 2011 by Interior Design magazine.
In 2013, Mick began designing for leading quartz surface manufacturer Caesarstone.
He has designed test and demonstration kitchens for global companies including the Chicago Tribune, Sub‐ Zero Freezer/Wolf Appliance and Meredith Corporation. He designed the kitchens at The Ritz-Carlton Residences
, a luxury condominium building on Chicago's Magnificent Mile, and in July 2012, his design of House Beautiful magazine's Kitchen of the Year
was showcased in New York's Rockefeller Plaza. Mick's work has been extensively published, and in 2013 he was the only US designer awarded Design et al's
